Oh how RoShamBo loves Finland... Home of the World Wife Carrying Championship, Mobile Phone Throwing World Championships and The World Air Guitar Championships... and now - adding to their RoShamBo ranks, we are thrilled to tell you the story of The Heavy Metal Knitting World Championship. This past July, the town of Joensuu hosted the first ever inaugural event and RoShamBo caught up with USA's (Lansing, Michigan) team - 9" Needles. Listen in as they share their epic adventure!
And an update from Elise... “Beth and I met two wonderful competitors last year. Nathalie from Scotland and Antra from Latvia. After the competition we agreed to team up for the 2020 competition. We have accepted the offer from the organizers to perform as the "Heavy Metal Knitting Super Stars", getting our own promo video and a designated performance time during the competition! However, we will not be competing for the title. We are thrilled to be going back, and to be the All Stars!
And by the way, look out for our outfits. They are going to be epic. 🤣”
